“Amen, I say to you, whatever you did for one of these least brothers or sisters of mine, you did for me.” Matthew 25: 31-46
The Society of St. Vincent de Paul is a Catholic lay organization inspired by the Gospels. Founded by Blessed Frederic Ozanam, the Society took as their patron the French priest St. Vincent de Paul. The Society leads women and men to spiritual growth through person-to-person service to those in need. Vincentians witness God’s love by embracing all works of charity and justice. The emphasis is on personal contact with those in need, and conference members work with their clients through home visits. The conference meets twice a month and new members are welcome. If you feel a calling to assist those in need in our community, please contact us at the number above to talk about joining the Society. We are funded purely by donations including those given in the church poor boxes.
