Fr. Victor J. Molka, Jr. son of Victor J. and Aurelia (Mizgalski) Molka, Sr. was born on May 25, 1952. He attended St. Norbert (Overbrook, PA) and St. Teresa of Avila (Ross Twp.) for elementary school. He is a 1970 graduate from North Hills High School. He then entered St. Paul Seminary and Duquesne University, graduating in 1974 with a B.A. in Philosophy. He was then sent for further studies at Mount Saint Mary’s College and Seminary in Emmitsburg, Maryland. He was awarded a Masters Degree in Systematic Theology in May of 1978. He was ordained to the priesthood on September 30, 1978 by Bishop Vincent Leonard. He served as parochial vicar at: Annunciation Parish, Lower North Side; St. Paul Parish, Butler, PA and St. Joseph Parish, Mt Oliver, PA. He went on to serve 2 years as Chaplain to the students at La Roche College and Chaplain to Passavant Hospital, and then to serve 5 years as Chaplain at St. Clair Hospital, Mt. Lebanon, PA. On June 16, 1996 he was appointed pastor to Mary, Mother of Hope Parish, New Castle, PA. He was also appointed administrator of St. Joseph the Worker Parish, New Castle, PA in 2010. After serving 16 years to the catholic community of New Castle, PA he was appointed pastor to St. Valentine Parish, Bethel Park, PA on July 6, 2012.
