How to make Saint Vals Your HomePage
You can make St. Valentine Parish (www.stvals.org) your homepage! This means that whenever you start up your internet session, the first page you'll see is the St. Valentine Parish page. You will also be able to easily return here by clicking your browser's HOME button at any time.

    How do I make St. Vals my home page using Netscape?
    1. Click on the Options menu in the menu bar and go to General Preferences.
    2. Click on the Appearance tab at the top of the window that pops up.
    3. In the middle of the window (section titled "Startup"), type "http://www.stvals.org" (do not use quotation marks) in the text box and click in the small circle next to "Home Page Location."
    4. When finished, click OK. When you open Netscape (or when you click the "Home" button, the St. Vals home page will automatically load in the browser window.


    How do I make St. Vals my home page using Internet Explorer?

    1. Click on the View menu in the menu bar and go to Options.
    2. Click on the Navigation tab at the top of the window that pops up.
    3. At the top section of the of the window (section titled "Customize"), type "http://www.stvals.org" (do not use quotation marks) in the Address box and click on the drop-down box next to "Page." Select "Start Page."
    4. When finished, click OK. When you open Internet Explorer (or when you click the "Home" button, the St. Vals home page will automatically load in the browser window


    How do I make St. Vals my home page on AOL's browser?

    1. Sign on to AOL.
    2. On the Members menu, click Preferences.
    3. Click the "WWW" button.
    4. Type "http://www.stvals.org" (without quotation marks) to designate Gateway Hometown Plus as your home page address and click OK. When you click on the "globe" icon on the toolbar (or when you go to Keyword: WEB, the St. Vals home page will automatically load in the browser window.

    Check to see if it worked:

    Click on your browser's Home Icon (Globe Icon if you're using AOL) and you should automatically be taken to the St. Valentine Parish (www.stvals.org) website.
