My Heart’s in Bethel Park

Since opening its doors in 1953, thousands of students have passed through Saint Valentine School. Many more taught here, sent their children or grandchildren here, volunteered here, or have been touched by the school in some way.

From this firm, faithful launching pad have come priests, teachers, engineers, doctors, nurses, lawyers, policemen, firemen, church leaders, active and involved mothers and fathers, PTG officers, community organizers, veterans. You will find St Valentine graduates spread across the country and even across the globe.

As a way to reconnect with all of the St Valentine School family, the PTG is looking to start a St Valentine School Alumni Association (SVSAA).

Once a Warrior, Always a Warrior

The SVSAA will strive for fidelity to the guiding principals of St Valentine School. It will have as its core components faith, service, fellowship, good will and good cheer. It is hoped that we will have several social “homecoming events” and we will develop a mechanism for spreading the good news about the current school students as well as allowing former students to keep up with each other’s accomplishments and milestones.

The SVSAA will be open to former students (graduated or not); former and current teachers; Priests; Parents of former students; former and current Parish and school staff and friends of the school

We are looking for help immediately in two areas. First, we are collecting contact information for all alumni on the form below.

Secondly, we are looking for people to help organize and get the alumni association up and running. If you or someone you know is willing to help or has experience starting or running an alumni association, please have them contact me at 412-343-0300 or at ptg@stvalschool.org .
