St. Valentine School Brings Home a First Place Trophy

In Final Forensics Tournament 

St. Valentine School received a first place trophy in competition against more than 20 other local public, private, and parochial schools at the Final Forensics Tournament sponsored by the Southwestern Pennsylvania Forensics League South. The tournament took place on Saturday, March 20 at South Fayette High School. 

All ten St. Valentine students received a first place medal in their individual category. Their combined team score was the highest of any participating school. 

Drama: Eddie Bittner, Kelsey Kanspedos, and Kaitlyn Loy

Prose: Alex Polley, Ashley Meyers, and Adam Bittner

Poetry: Andrew Uhlmann, Johnny Sigg, and Mary Wray

Declamation: Briana Koenig

Mrs. Kay Menees, an English teacher for St. Valentine School, is moderator for the group.
