St. Val’s Hosts Popular Cupid Classic Basketball Tourny for Third Year 

St. Valentine School’s annual Cupid Classic returns for its third year of exciting grade school boys and girls basketball. Games will be played on Saturdays February 14 and 21, 2004 beginning at 9:00 AM. Teams from St. Valentine’s Varsity Boys and Girls, JV Boys and Girls, and fifth grade boys will compete along with teams from St. Anne, St. Thomas More, St. Gabriel, Bishop McDowell, St. Louise, and St. Elizabeth. Win or lose, all participants receive a memento of the Cupid Classic. 

St. Valentine School’s cheerleading squad and Little Dribblers will also make appearances. The Little Dribblers from first, second, and third grade are scheduled to perform at half time of the 4:30 games each Saturday.

Prior to the five championship games on February 21, guests will perform the National Anthem, and various Cub Scout and Girl Scout members will present the flag for a color guard ceremony.
