FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

St. Valentine School Places Second in Forensics

St. Valentine School placed second in the third tournament of the year sponsored by the Southwestern Pennsylvania Forensics League South, held recently at St. Thomas More. The following seventh and eighth grade students won first and second place ribbons to contribute to the team’s overall second place finish.

Prose: Mara Beth Didiano, Zack Fish, Kelsey Thomspon, and Tara Wallace

Drama: Molly Doherty, Jessica Faber, Kimberly Miller, and Bethany Schreck

Poetry: Shea Loftus, Angie Comer, Brian Dudiak, and Jared Zych

Declamation: Peter Croke and Alex Polley.

Mrs. Key Menees is moderator for the group, and Ms. Mary Pakutinskas is assistant.
