FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

St. Valentine School Plans for Annual Walk-a-Thon

A police escort will lead the students, teachers, parents, and guardians of St. Valentine School across the trolley tracks and down Mesta Street to the Bethel Park Community Center for its second annual Walk-a-Thon on Friday, May 17. (In case of rain, the date will be changed to Wednesday, May 22.)

Students in all grades – from preschool through eighth – will join in the fundraiser to benefit the school's general budget, with prizes going for the first letter returned, the most letters returned, the class with the highest average dollar-per-student, and a number of random drawings. Last year's event raised more than $11,000.00.
