Saint Valentine School

Amy Banner, a fifth grader at St. Valentine School in Bethel Park, recently won a poster contest sponsored by the Allegheny County Firefighters Assocation. Her poster placed first among all fifth graders in Allegheny County and earned her a $100.00 U.S. Savings Bond, smoke detectors, and a commemorative ribbon.

Amy will be honored at a banquet on November 16 at the Greenock Fire Hall, along with winners from other age groups. Following the banquet, her poster will be returned to St. Valentine School, along with a plaque with her name on it.

Amy is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Sheldon Banner of Bethel Park.
