Answer, hopefully, in next month's newsletter.PTG Reference Section in School LibraryI continue to encourage all members to stop by and check out this reference section as it contains information relevant to the functioning of your PTG.Requests for ReimbursementsAs we have discussed previously, please follow the guidelines as set forth by the treasurer for requesting reimbursements. Requests for up front monies should be planned for well in advance.Presidential ClipboardI know there has been talk about what has become of the presidential clipboard. It is waiting for the new millennium. It will be back!!!!!!!!PTG MeetingCHAIRPERSONS MUST SUBMIT A MONTHLY REPORT TO THE PRESIDENT FOR EACH MONTHLY MEETING. PLEASE DO SO IN PERSON AT THE MEETING, VERBALLY, OR IN WRITING.Members or others must contact me prior to any meeting if they wish to have any new business items placed on the meeting agenda. This is especially important when a request for funding is involved. The next PTG meeting is scheduled for January 11, 2001. Can you believe it? The meeting is at 7:30 P.M. in the Newman House. Baby sitting service will be provided. As always, you may discuss any of this with any other PTG officer or me. Thank you.
Tom GIANT EAGLE'S "APPLES FOR THE STUDENTS" PROGRAMAs of November 30, 2000, we have collected $66,000.00 or 12% of our $550,000.00 goal in Giant Eagle cash register tapes.Once again, we will be entering the Grand Reward contest. The school that submits the most cash register tapes per student wins a $1,000.00 Giant Eagle gift certificate. To enter the contest, all we need to do is submit our tapes dated from October 8, 2000 through December 31, 2000 by January 15, 2001. Thank you for your continued support! Lillian SCHOOL PROGRAMSThe next two programs are scheduled for Catholic Schools Week. One is from the Gateway to the Arts program, and the other is a one man show on Jackie Robinson. This second show is performed by local actor Gregory Gibson Kenney. Look for the schedule of these shows soon, along with other information on Catholic Schools Week.Please remember to send in your Shop N Save receipts. We will continue to save them until April when we will receive an assembly from the Carnegie Museum on bugs. Lorraine YEARBOOKThanks to all who have already sent in photos for the yearbook! We will continue to collect photos for this publication through February. Send through Matt in Room 8-15.
