St. Valentine Celebrates Catholic Schools Week

St. Valentine School in Bethel Park will join schools across the country in celebration of Catholic Schools Week January 28 through February 4, 2001. Various activities are planned each day for students, teachers, families, and friends, with the week culminating in a closing mass celebrated by Bishop Zubik.

Monday, January 29:

Gateway to the Arts

Pantomime, Dan Kamin

1:15-2:15 P.M. in Frawley Hall for Preschool-Grade 8

Tuesday, January 30:

Breakfast for students and their families

7:30 A.M.-8:30 A.M. AND

Bayer Corporation Science Program

12:30-2:30 P.M. in Gym for Grades 3-8

Wednesday, January 31:

Talent Show

12:30-2:30 P.M. in Frawley Hall for Kindergarten-Grade 8

Thursday, February 1:

Cake Walk Raffle

8:45 A.M.-Noon in Gym for Preschool-Grade 8

Friday, February 2:

10:00 A.M. Mass AND

Jackie Robinson Production

1:15 –2:15 P.M. in Frawley Hall

Saturday, February 3:

Kindergarten Readiness Gathering for Prospective Students

10:00-11:30 A.M. in Rooms 5 and 6

Sunday, February 4:

Catholic Schools Week Closing Mass celebrated by Bishop Zubik

12:00 Noon at St. Valentine Church

Followed by an Open House until 2:00 P.M. in the school

Boy Scout Troop 225 Spaghetti Dinner 1:00-6:00 P.M. in Frawley Hall
