Two". Children who reach the age of 2 by
September 1 with their adult "buddy".
3 Year Old:
Children who
reach the age of 3 by September 1.
4 Year Old:
Children who
reach the age of 4 by September 1.

 Welcome to
St. Valentine Preschool. When arriving, the boys and girls hang their coats and bookbags
in the coatroom. |
 In Mrs.
Mills classroom, the boys and girls sit at their tables for Circle Time and Snacks. |
 At
Circle Time, we say a prayer together, and talk about the day. One child is chosen each
day to help with the calendar, including the day of the week, the number and the name of
the month. |
 At Circle
Time, we talk about the weather outside, and place the appropriate weather symbols on the
weather chart. |
 Playtime in
Mrs. Mills classroom includes such activities as imaginative play with playsets, puzzles,
cars, coloring, board games, small manipulative and Legos. |
Computer and Table Activites: Students enjoy spending time on the computer where they are
learning to use the mouse and keyboard. It's a fun way to learn our colors, shapes,
numbers and letters. |
 Activities
in the Castle Room include gross motor activities such as riding bikes, climbing cube,
balance beam, large wooden building blocks, large cardboard blocks, bowling, basketball
and bean bags. |
Playhouse: The play house is a great place to pretend! We can use the garden, the kitchen,
the work bench and the laundry. There are plenty of dress-up clothes and dolls to use and
the shelves are full of dishes and food to share. |
 A decoration
on one of our doors sums it all up ...
