REGISTRATION/OPEN HOUSE:
2012-2013: Begins Sat,
Feb 4, 2012, 10:00am – 1:00pm. Please call for an appointment or
to arrange a tour. (412) 835-5539. Your child's birth certificate
and registration fee are required to confirm enrollment.
The Preschool is located
in the lower level of Newman House on the parish grounds.
Classrooms are bright and cheery and the separate location gives the
children a sense of a "special place" that is just for them.
ADMISSIONS:
2 Year Old Program: "Tiny Hearts for Two". Children who
reach the age of 2 by September 1 with their adult "buddy".
3 Year Old Program: Children who reach the age of 3 by September 1.
4 Year Old Program: Children who reach the age of 4 by September 1.
3 & 4 year old children must be toilet-trained to be admitted to
their program. Occasional accidents are understandable.
YEARLY
SCHEDULE:
The school year runs from Labor Day (September) until Memorial
Day (May). 2012-2013 preschool year begins Sept. 4 with an
abbreviated time schedule for children's (and parent's)
adjustment. Standard time schedule begins Sept 10. The
Preschool closes for all major holidays, Parent-Teacher Conferences,
and staff meetings.
ANNUAL PICNIC:
Meet and
greet preschool classmates, parents and teachers before school begins
at Simmons Park, Clifton Rd in Bethel
Park on Wednesday, August 22 from 10:00am-12:00pm.
This annual picnic is provided by the preschool for children and parents
to get acquainted with their soon-to-be best friends.

Program. Refrigerator and Microwave are available. Teachers
will warm the student's lunches when necessary. Extended Day also
provides 20-30 minutes of "Quiet Time" after lunch.

9:00 - Arrival, Free play
9:30 - Circle Time: Prayer, Attendance, Calendar, Weather, Sharing
9:45 - Bible Story, Theme Lesson
10:15 - Book Time, Snack (Students rotate snack schedule)
10:30 - Fine / Gross Motor Activity
11:00 - Story, Closing Activity, Songs, Fingerplays
11:30 - Dismissal
(The PM Program runs with the same time allotment for each activity
beginning at 12:30)
TUITION
SCHEDULE for 2012-2013 has not been finalized. Tuition below is 2011-2012
Registration Fee:
$30 for "Tiny Hearts for Two" students.
$40 for "Tiny Hearts for Two" students moving to 3 year old
group.
$40 for 3 year old students moving to 4 year old group
$50 for new students in the 3 or 4 year old group.
Registration fees are non-refundable and are not deducted from tuition
